central to our careers; they come first in our professional
priorities.
Will collective bargaining raise tuition? Not likely. Our sister
institutions have been able to address a whole range of issues while
operating in the same fiscal environment as our University -- and
keeping tuition increases within the same ranges as we have here.
Will student learning be affected by a strike? Not likely. Click

How can collective bargaining benefit students? Student learning
conditions is linked to our working conditions. Faculty with a
collective voice can better serve student interests by lending our
voice to theirs to improve the University's learning environment.
For students in Education, the IEA may be a familiar name. The IEA
maintains a student chapter at ISU to assist in the professional
development of future teachers. The
Student Education Association
is the largest organization on campus.
