Text Box: Sign the enclosed card, mail, & bring the
union issue to a vote:

(If you have already signed a card, get a NTT colleague to sign the enclosed card and mail.)

Signatures are strictly confidential. ISU administrators will NEVER have access to the names. (If you desire additional security, you may want to return your card in an envelope.)

Signing the card indicates that you want the election outcome to be that the Illinois State Non-tenure Track Faculty Association affiliates with the National Educational Association/Illinois Educational Association to bargain for our issues.

At least 30% of NTTs must sign & return cards to schedule a vote to establish a union.

Our goal is to file cards with the Illinois Educational
Labor Relations Board by early October.

The election will be conducted by the board 4-6 weeks after the cards are filed.

Signing a card really can make a difference.

NTTs at Columbia College have just negotiated their second contract, which includes what they wanted in order to ensure job security. After a probationary period NTTs are automatically re-employed unless courses are no longer offered or a just cause for dismissal exists.
